Another year passes by. And here goes my checklist amd my very own tag. Just delete my answers and fill em up with yours. :)
Q1:Are you better than where you were when the year started?
A:Yes
Q2:Did you get a notch up on the ladder of wisdom?
A:Maybe
Q3:Did you laugh more till you cried or cried more till you laughed?
A:Equally, coz one doesnt exist without the other.
Q4:Did you meet new people?
A:Yes, loads
Q5:Did your friend list swell a little?
A:Yes :)
Q6:Did you have to let go of people?
A:Yes, I had to
Q7:Did that hurt you a lot?
A:Yeah, initially, but I learnt a lot from that :) If someone can hurt you so much and not be affected a bit by it, then they arent worth agonizing over. You deserve much better. :)
Q8:Did you have to put up a false smile and bear things with a grudge?
A: Occasionally, you get yourself in such positions.
Q9:Did you have to act happy when you hurt inside?
A:Well, I donno. If I am hurt, I show I am hurt. If I am happy, you needn't ask - even the iron guy next street will probably know I am happy :p
Q10:Did you achieve something great this year?
A:Yeah, I became a qualified Cost and Management Accountant :D and I earned my first big buck :D
Q11:Do you regret anything you did this year?
A:yeah, somethings but it doesnt matter anymore :)
Q:Did you fall in and out of love, necessarily not in that order? :p
A:Hmmmm, I think so...am not yet sure *wink*
Q12:Did you grow?
A:Mentally or physically? :p, okies, yeah I did grow up a lil bit.
Q13:Was this one of your best years?
A: Definitely, one of my coolest.
Q14:Did you learn something new?
A: We learn everyday, every minute.
Q15:What was the most memorable in this year?
A: Loads, - I am qualified as a professional. I started my career out of the blue. One year where I was at home for the most part of it and loved every minute of it.My first trip out of the country, and catching malaria on the way back :p, and yeah my first cell phone :)
Q16:Would have done anything differently this year if given a chance?
A: *Thinking*, nah - I guess the year was good. One of the best. I wouldnt change anything. :)
Q17:Did you travel a lot this year?
A: Yeah, I traveled a bit more than I usually do and visited new places.
Q18:Will you mark this year as one filled with fond memories or bitter ones?
A: For sure fond memories. :)

Life ho! Out of Control ??!!!
I hope All Izz Well :p
My last post says it was on Sept 7th!! Too much of neglecting the blog it might end up like a bad rotten apple with a worm in it the size of my longest finger, which isnt very long unfortunately *Smiles at that thought*
ya, so hope all is well in the blog world and do please excuse me if i go on rant with lyrics from 3 Idiots :p My latest addition to my list of obsessions.
An update is required every now and then in everything, be it people, things, business or anything. Where was/were I/it/they? and Where am/are I/it/they?
So yes, a big update on my part! The change from the zany kid who was stubborn she wouldnt enter an office and spend her time dozing before the computer screen from 9 to 5 to a bit mature (:p) zany child who is working a 10 to 7 job and at times wonders if she can have more than 9 hours to work!
Yes, I agree, I did not like what I was doing the first week.
1st day - I was lost, I wanted to run away immediately
2nd day - I was getting better
1st week - I still had that lost look
2- 3 rd week - I was working on it
4 - 5th week - Started falling in love with what I was doing, couldnt wait to complete it, that I started delivering outputs for a week in a day and ended with no work for 4 days :p
Awesomeness! I only hope it continues *wink*
The colleagues are fun, got settled, even started cracking office jokes :p
So that explains my neglect! Ok, even if I wasnt working, i would still be neglecting thy blog, coz I went out of ideas to blog. But now, I am up to the brim of the cup with hot chocolate liquid that needs to be spilled all over and be left with dark brown stains. *slurp* long time no hot or cold chocolate! - Dieting you see. I know! I know!,I 'I' - Following some rules in my life? - surprising, maybe that's why chennai has indefinite rains *winks again*
I dont even have time to catch movies! I wanna grow up once again! *effects of song playing on the media player, to be filtered when read :p*
So where am I going? Is this what I want? I dont know. At present, this moment, I love what I do, except I miss all those lazy days where I had nothing to do. I'll get up in the morning and come online. Go have breakfast, and then take bath :p then once again come online and the day goes on. Had so much of time back then.
Right now, I get up - hurriedly check mail, take bath and rush to office. Get back home at 7, have dinner, come online and go to bed. I have to cramp up all that I wanna do in the weekend, and that too i get only 2 full weekends as I work 2 Saturdays :( And all my friends say - Join the club :p
But time flies, it flew and its gonna be 2 months since I started my career. Ah! I wouldn't have accepted it if anyone had told me so 3 months back. But then life never happens the way we plan. Does it? Not so in my case, Lot of things*winks* has happened in my life, which I wouldn't have fathomed will happen if you had asked me earlier. Thats what adds spice to life doesn't it. Those small bits of turning surprises you encounter on the way you grow up.
It just make me wish how I would do it all differently if given another chance, well yes i can keep living differently if given as many chances one wants till the ways to live gets exhausted. Awww, this is one long sentence, that needs to be braked immediately according to my MD. To him, short and curt (yeah not sweet) get the matter across, not lengthy flowery dialogues. And he thinks I am delivering it. Yes, seriously me! Who loves to write on and on about a topic. Who i remember just with a couple of points, wrote two whole pages of an answer and got it acknowledged as the best answer :p *I can still smell the smoke from around my class mates at that time - which was a long long ago time:p*
I seriously dont get it, I dont do anything *wink* And in the end of the day they say I am one of the best students or employee (now). :p Maybe thats what the underlying idea is. Under deliver your promises and Over Achieve them - said some one, whom I dont remember now. But one great advice that was for consultants.
I am exhausted now. And something tells me I will blog again tomorrow. But then tomorrow is a distant dream till it dawns. It is now and this moment that matters. You live each moment without an ounce of regret, your day is made. And the same way you can make each day and have your fairy tale book ending :)
So life Ho! Out of Control! - Live it out of control - you can grab back your control when you are ready. A strict rule book life - Not anyone's cup of tea. A lil out of the book, a lil adventure, a lil living it up, a lil wildness - without all these lil things, you can never say you live life. You are just a walking corpse.
So this new year! Lets all live a little. It is you who live your life, not your dad, not your mom, not your relatives, not your friends, not your neighbors and necessarily not your dog! In the end of the day, you have a life to live like every other living thing in this planet! - I learnt that this year! :D
Hope the year end brings fond memories and the new year new hopes!

Shit happens!
Your best shoe tears apart when you are at the all important function of your life, and it was the same shoes with which you had even gone walking miles before, but two steps into the party - and it tears apart
You have an all important exam the next day, and it is just at night you open your book. Zap - there is a power cut
You are on the verge of completing your project on your system. The system zoinks out, and if you reboot, you find that all your project is missing
You are waiting for an all important phone call, only then your phone goes dead, and wails for its funeral
You have downloaded half the movie, and seen it to, while the other half never downloads.
You have an important evening out, and only then you realize your favorite dress is stained by some unusual stain
It is the interview, for which you have been preparing so long, only to blink blank at the interviewer on the D - day.
You have prepared real well for an exam, but a lil arithmetic mistake, makes you turn in an incomplete paper, coz you dint realize what went wrong, until the end of the hour to figure out you have written 3 plus 3 is 9 instead of 6.
You are very bored to insanity, and want to listen to music, only when you realize you haven't charged your ipod
You plan a whole day out with friends, only to cancel it coz you need to attend a important family function which you knew only 10 minutes before.
You need to be at a so and so place real soon, only to realize the scooty of yours have zero petrol.
You are already late to a place, and only then the traffic on the roads is ugly.
You did awesome in your exams, the examiner wasnt awesome - and he/she ends up flunking you.
So yes, shit happens all the time. And specifically at the wrong time. No one is spared!
Right now, I am irritated, that this shit of a post happened. Thank you.

Trespasing Rodents will be prosecuted!!
I am in such a rage! Ok, Don't laugh..I can work up a rage when I want to. I am not always that funny!
Ewwww.....There was trespassing on my property, which will not go unheeded. So here I send my entreaty to the rat kingdom!

One or more of your people has been involved in atrocious behavior and should definitely be condemned.
His/her (I don't know if it is a he or she)/their charge is they slipped into my scooty seat box (Oh! poor Roger!) and impishly I guess played "who - nibbles - fast" with my white dupattah and much worse my registration certificate photocopies!
This is basic infringement of rights of my scooty, poor thing which was standing in the shade after a long drive.
I have a hole right in the middle of my R/C photocopies, not one but 2, and 2 more even more bigger holes in my dupattah. And moreover, I don't have my original R/C *shaking head left and right* Shiva - shiva, Is there no justice in this world?
Don't you rats govern your kind properly, Don't you rodents have laws? How uncouth on your part? What harm did my Roger do to you?,that you had to target him. Arent innocent victims to be justified?
I demand the wrongdoers to be immediately punished, either by locking them up or deporting them! Because their crimes becomes two fold, coz now I am struck with the scooty which cant be sold now without the original R/C book, and I was managing so far with the photo copy of it, and now that too is damaged beyond repair. Now what will I do if that police uncle at the chola signal, who always stops me for speeding through red, ask me where my R/C book is?
Ah - Now I get an idea, why don't you rats find the culprit/s of this very bad act and give him/her/them to me, I will neatly put him/her/them in a locked box, and when that favorite police uncle of mine asks for the complete R/C book, I can point it out to your little rodents - and say one half of it is inside him/her/them :P yeah I guess that would be a good enough punishment for this misdemeanor, and I can get to keep the torturer/s and become the torturer in turn.
And yes, moreover the crime is again doubled, coz it was done on a Sunday! Sunday is international holiday for all things, or did not you rodents know? Sunday is Funday - not bad doing day! If it had happened on a Monday, I wouldn't be so raged, coz Monday comes, the blues of Monday come too!
Now, due to that, I also demand along with handing me the culprit/s, I should also be regularly supplied with dupattahs for them to nibble upon, coz I am not going to provide them with mine. I even suggest that you can flick the dupattahs from my next door neighbor who has more of it than required.
And the prosecution should happen now, coz everyone knows I am impatient, so if it doesn't happen soon, hell ensues. Coz I protect what is mine!

Ego and Pride

And apologize or forgive

Cant say anything more!
I know, It wasnt easy, and he wasnt in his best form. He was almost desperate to find a way to break Roddick's serve, when Roddick broke his game twice. But He did in the end, only he could do it. And he stands tall with his 15 grand slam titles by winning in the most crazy grand slam final yesterday!

I m patience :p
Impatience was walking with just one shoe? Why? Coz he did not have the patience to find the lost shoe :p

Random Musings of nothing in particular
It has been a while, well not a while - seems like an eternity since I was active in the blog. Sorry people for the neglect. My life was filled with activities that I could not spend enough time here. Well, now that I seem to have some bit of a free time at hand, maybe it is time I started over :)
I know, in my last post - I promised I will write about 'Frozen Thoughts' . As usual, me being me, I mucked up. No prizes for guessing that :p
There are loads happening around, that I cant seem to be able to catch everything up at a time. In one end - My Fav Roger Fedrer is on a winning streak, and win Wimbledon, He will make yet another record. On the other end MJ died - May his soul R.I.P. The world cries for you.
And still in another end, am I. On the brink of just completing my exams, and if luck is by my side, I will officially be a Cost Accountant in 2 months time :D
Things so far are really good. I have never been better I guess. Yes, Life does have its lows at times, but off late - it has gone down, and glad am I for it.
I have just begun to realize, Life is what you make out of it, not the other way round. Life doesn't dictate you. You do. We are gonna be here for what, like a max of 80 to the extreme 100 years (If blessed with amazing health in this gen) And 20 of those have already been lost for me :(. It is too short a span to live. So why live it with a hate, grudge, regret. In the end - it all amounts to nothing, but a sad story.
Today, ok not today, for quite sometime. I have decided. If I want to do something, and it doesn't prick my heart. I might as well do it then regret of thinking what might have come out of it If I had done it. If it flops, well and good. It is just another path to be crossed, I will be happy that I at least gave it a try. If it adds value to me and my life. Nothing could be much better.
At times, it is good, to let go. Just be us, be wild. All those rules and principles that we confine, can be forgotten for some time. In the end, the question is - Are you happy with your life so far? And if it is not positive. It is high time steps are taken to remedy it. It is you who can make your life happy, not anyone else. It is the way you look at things. It is the way you perceive things. If you see through them with a veil, life is never gonna be good. Appreciate people and things for what they are. Never judge them (Ok, I should not be saying this, as I am the most opinionated person around, But I am starting to change) Never judge a book by a cover, it is always just a cover and not the real thing.

Nothing but the ride of happiness.
A human who cant laugh at little things in life is no better than a demon. So people, laugh with no regrets, what worse could happen? Even if it all goes bad, think of how to get over it with a smile. The small curve of the lips, the sound of a deep laughter can do wonderful changes to you and everyone around.
Ok, enough is enough. I wanted to write something, and ended with something. Again nothing unusual knowing me :p Be happy, and laugh loud. And now it is time for me to visit TD's blog to have an extra laugh :p

Frozen thoughts to House Calls
During one of mom's occasional visits to the Ortho, I had the opportunity to accompany her. I like visiting health clinics as long as I aint the patient :P On one such visit I came across this magazine called 'House Calls' It is a bi - monthly magazine from the Dr. Reddy's group. As usual being bored waiting, I flipped through the magazine and came across an interesting column called the 'Doctor's Diary' Well it being a diary, it was written by an anonymous doctor. From what I could understand, each edition the Doctor's will give life to their humor and write this column, and it is a different Doctor each time, coz they were ok with giving the city from which the doctor hails. Like for example ' This Delhi Doctor' :)
This column was titled 'Tete - a tete in Tea rooms'. It started with this write up .
"Doctor's are but human, even if patients like to put them in a pedestal along with their favorite gods. They need breaks from these nerve-racking surgeries and even more nerve - wrecking relatives who badger them with questions, to take refuge in one of the cafeterias which all hospitals have these days. A doctor ruminates what goes on in these tea rooms...."
This column was titled 'Tete - a tete in Tea rooms'. It started with this write up .

They need breaks from these nerve-racking surgeries and even more nerve - wrecking relatives who badger them with questions, to take refuge in one of the cafeterias which all hospitals have these days. A doctor ruminates what goes on in these tea rooms...."
The words cafeteria and tea rooms, made me want to read the article, coz well that is where rumors fly, So I proceeded to read the rumination by the doctor. He went on to explain how tea rooms were there earlier and how modernized they have changed now. Well that wasnt the point he was trying to drive home, What actually drove him to write the column is how workaholic the Doctors are that, they dont even spare their tea breaks and discuss patients much to the disgust of the on lookers around the cafeteria, coz that is how explanatory they were in describing each and every internal organ of the patients that they worked on. Some snippets from the column which I couldnt resist to share with you people :P
"They went something like this....." The tumor was atleast a kilo in weight and fungating, smeared with blood, and the peritoneum was full of thick yellowish green puss." The other voice countered with, "Bet it was not as bad as last night's ruptured kidney that burst like an overripe fruit, a gooey red mess"
All this conversation over watering aromas of food from the cafeteria, that most other people sitting next to these doctors just almost gagged on their food.
My point to drive home was not how graphically describing Doctor's can be, it is that these Doctor's are not lacking in humor, they do get their share of the funny bone in most bizziare situations
There was also a couple of interesting facts I learnt from the magazine. There was a lot of history and facts,
One was about the origin of food It was written with the help from this book called 'The Story of Food' By Dr. Achaya. Vegetarianism wasnt practiced first, Even Bhramins ate meat, They ate what was called the pure meat, that which is sacrificed. While Vegetarianism came in, only when there was a revulsion towards eating Beef. Dog was not eaten, expect under dire circumstances when it was allowed under the rule of Appad Dharma which says "Life is more important than customs and rules" So the next time, if anyone tells you it is a sin to eat non vegetarian food, Do argue that once everyone was a non vegetarian, it was only some revulsion to some kinds of meat that gave vegetarianism into existence :P
Now the next thing I read about was "Relationships" How could a doctor's magazine be complete without this topic :)
This article was titled 'Plato's Blessing'
The word Platonic relationship came into existence due to Plato. He is rumored to have had many non sexual relationships with several women during his life time.
Yet there was another that was the last dash of mint to add more spice, There was this article where it is written that Indians werent always fully clothed, The long skirts and modest clothes were brought along with the British invasion, and there came the Victorian maiden and the style of covering oneself fully from neck to toes by full gowns and dresses. Well, in the end this is the land of kama sutra and hushing it up is of no use.
Anyways, I thought I will continue with some quotes from 'Frozen thoughts' But then time is running, so should I. So check out my next blog post on thoughts that ought to be frozen forever, Well That will be inspiring and motivating if I have managed to make your mouth hang open from the above post :P

Well I live for chocolates, I lead such a sinful life I tell ya :P

start solving it, much to the chagrin of my friends, and you can find
me saying the Prof is wrong, this isnt the solution and I will end up
scratching the whole page where I have solved correctly, as it wont be
accepted coz the prof does it a different way :P
23:I am not what you think I am - I keep things to myself and people
who read mind may test their skills on me :P, And my friends say I can
hardly keep a secret to myself, if It is mine or the others, But then
I can, You know, When I want to, I do keep them :P
24:People have never seen me cramming before an exam eve, and I will
spoil their last minute preparations too with my smug smile as though
I have done enough! and they too should follow suit, and moreover I
will be the first person mostly to walk out of the exam hall ;P

She is back to stay!
The road never ending
The lanes never bending
Trees and bushes went unheeded
So did the wailing children
There was only one destiny
The destiny which was unknown
An uncertain feeling crept through her
Will she be able to do it?
Will she have the courage?
She took the wild horse
And rode without course
To reach the Devil’s lair
Yellow teeth and grubby gums
The devil woke up to the daily rum
*thud*thud*thud*
The door gave away
She stood beautiful
With that arrogant sway
Greeny eyes popped up and down
An angel in disguise was now known
She looked with such venom
That could take away a whole army
And then she smiled

* So I am here guys, I fought the devil who had occupied this blog for so damn long, like say 6 months! OMG! he is dead now, and I am back to haunt you guys :) and children you no longer need to wail *wink*, In no time you will see the blog get back into action and I am going nowhere now :P
